EAST VS WEST
How Our League Works
McDowell County Youth Basketball features two districts within each division, East and West. Players are placed in a district based on where they attend school or their physical address. The East district consists of Marion, Nebo, Glenwood and Eastfield. The West district consists of Old Fort, PG, West Marion and North Cove. If your child does not attend one of these schools, then the school district of your physical address will be used. Each division with the exception of Termites will have an evaluation day where coaches can see the players skills before drafts. Players will receive a rating that is only available to coaches in the draft room. This added information allows coaches the opportunity to draft competitive teams. ALL players will be drafted onto a team.
